Biographical note: PhD in Geography and History (Art History) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; Master’s degree in Anthropology and Ethnography (UB) and Master’s degree in Women’s Studies (Duoda Research Center, UB). Full professor of Art History at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and an extraordinary professor at the Antoni Gaudí Faculty (Ateneu Universitari Sant Pacià). Member of the Research Group on Renaissance and Baroque Art (UAB and UdG), she has devoted her research to the art and architecture of the Baroque period in Catalonia, the study of artistic and cultural heritage in a broad sense, and the production and socio-historical context of women artists. She has curated exhibitions at the Frederic Marès Museum, the Vila Casas Foundation, and the Museums of Sitges. She is currently member of the advisory team for the curatorial narrative at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), takes part of the artistic advisory committee of the Sagrada Família, and also serves on the boards of the Institut Amatller d’Art Hispànic, the Fundació Espurnes Barroques, and the Fundació Enciclopèdia Catalana.
