Biographical note: In 1991, she founded her own studio after achieving international recognition with Enric Miralles for projects such as the Igualada Cemetery. She has received numerous awards and mentions, including the recent Prat de la Riba Prize 82023), the Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize (2022), the National Architecture Prize 2021, the Richard J. Neutra Medal (2016), the Creu de Sant Jordi (2015) and the CSAE Spanish Architecture Prize (1995). She has combined her activity as an architect with teaching, being a guest professor at the University of California – Berkeley, the Harvard University Graduate School of Design; the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne or the Università de Venezia, among others. His projects include the Hotel Son Brull in Mallorca, the MPavilion 2018 in Melbourne, the La Massana Art School in Barcelona, the CaixaForum Cultural Center in Zaragoza and the Cube and Cube II Office Towers in Guadalajara (Mexico).
